Week 3 - Still screaming...

Week 3 went okay...but we still have a screaming baby. Poor thing still has acid reflux, despite all the meds she is on. On Saturday we went to the doctor again and got a prescription for Prilosec. The doc said that this is stronger than the Zantac and will hopefully help - although it will take 5-10 days to start working. She said if this doesn't work we may have to go to a GI doctor. We are now on day 3 of the Prilosec, and while she is doing a little bit better we are still having a tough time. She has a few feedings a day where she wails for hours afterwards, exhausting herself and everyone else. Because of Aubrey's issues, my mom is still staying with us. She has been a tremendous help!

Aside from the acid reflux problems Aubrey is doing great. She is alert for about five hours a day and loves to be talked to and played with. Tummy time is going well, she loves looking at her gorgeous self in the mirror in her crib. She is freakishly strong and will grab anything she can get her hands on and pull. She pulls hair, necklaces, and even pulls my glasses off. She is starting to enjoy bath time but isn't crazy about having her face washed. I am loving spending time with her and watching her grow and develop. Hopefully by the end of next week we will have her tummy problems under control!
